I have to say, I was a little nervous seeing Donna last night at The Peppermill Casino in Reno, NV. Especially after hearing some negative reviews from casino concert go-ers...but it didn't take long to realize that all those negative reviews were no match for Reno!
The crowd was on their feet and cheering as soon as THE QUEEN IS BACK started to play, and The Diva Donna was standing on-stage!
REVIEW FOLLOWS with some spoilers....I assume if you haven't seen her yet, you have avoided these reviews anyway!
Pretty much the concert went just like everyone elses... songs NOT SUNG: Be Myself Again, Fame (The Game), and I will Go With You.

Queen Is Back (Great opening number, was there any doubt she would open with anything else?)
I Feel Love (Got the crowd on their feet...but not as much as....)
DIM ALL THE LIGHTS...Donna rocked the house on this song, and got everyone dancing. The casino added 2 dance floors, over to the sides of the stage for people to dance, but people were dancing in the isles.
I'M A FIRE...(This song actually seemed to subdue the crowd...it amazes me how it went number one, as the crowd didn't really seem to care for it...the BEST part of this song was the fire on the screens...looked great onstage.)
I have to say, this is the best Donna Summer concert I have seen. I think the use of the screens was fantastic!! My mother loved this show...as did I....and other than Donna's voice, and the electric atmosphere of this concert, the screens added a GREAT ELEMENT to her show.
Although SAND ON MY FEET was a nice quiet song, everyone seemed to love Donna's dress...which she looked fantastic in!
ON THE RADIO...Donna had a great knack for getting the audience quieted down, and then back up on their feet.
Donna did have some trouble in spots of getting people quiet.. we were a rowdy crowd! But she was definitely eating it up!! A few times she said...LET THE DIVA SPEAK...

Man...I am hoping Donna adds a new leg to this tour...close to AZ, because I would definitely like to see this show again!!
